Welcome to the U.S.-Israel Business Initiative

The U.S.-Israel Business Initiative (USIBI) is the premier vehicle advancing the bilateral commercial relationship between the United States and Israel.  Often overshadowed by justifiably important national security concerns, the strong economic ties between the U.S. and Israel provide a firm base of support for our unbreakable alliance.

The U.S. stands to benefit greatly from increased economic activity with Israel.  Bilateral commerce has yielded the creation of thousands of jobs in the United States and Israel and the realization of game-changing products that cut across sectors.  The USIBI pursues policy and programmatic activities aimed at further securing this deep and everlasting bond through greater economic integration, trade and investment.

The USIBI is a core program of the Middle East and North Africa Affairs Department. It is part of the U.S.Chamber of Commerce and integral to the International Division that helps the U.S. business community compete in the global marketplace. The Initiative has full access to the Chamber’s congressional and legal affairs divisions, as well as various Chamber institutes and programs. This access can be used to advance USIBI policies, programs, and initiatives.
